I know it's been a month or so since I've updated this so there's lots to tell you. To start, I am now 16 weeks and 2 days pregnant....only 24 weeks til Baby Galle makes it's debut!
We went to the doctor today and were able to hear the heartbeat, which was 145. According to old wives' tales, that would mean we're having a girl....but who knows? Either way, it's a really amazing experience to be able to hear our baby's heart beating while it's growing inside of me. My gut still says boy...and the mystery will be solved on Tuesday, March 30th at 10AM! She also told us that I would probably start to feel the baby move any time now.
In other news, Chris has finished painting the nursery, as you can see from the pictures above. He did an excellent job and is very happy to be done! And, as soon as March 30th gets here, we'll continue with the decorating!
I'm feeling great....I can finally keep my eyes open past 9:00 and I'm not exhausted all of the time....and I'm always hungry (but I'm not complaining about that!)! Depending on what I'm wearing, you can see the beginning of a bump and I finally had to get some new work pants at the maternity store today! I'll post pictures when I begin to show more. I'm going to try to update more often.....so stay tuned!
